Jira Software and Jira Work Management are no longer sold separately. Instead, Atlassian is bringing all features together to form a new Jira. With this evolution, Atlassian is introducing a new unified Jira experience along with some exciting new features to help teams collaborate better together.
Existing Jira Software only customers won't experience any impact. Their plans and pricing will remain unchanged, and they won't be required to take any action. They'll have access to the new Jira experience, without affecting your existing projects, on 1 May.
Existing Jira Work Management only customers will continue to have access to the product, with minor branding changes, until auto-migration early next year. Once accomplished, they will get full access to the new "Jira" feature suite. The migration will not impact any existing projects and the new "Jira" pricing comes into effect only with the first subsequent renewal.
Existing customers using both products will have access to the new Jira experience for the Jira Software part of the user interface. Others will continue to access Jira Work Management, with minor branding changes until their auto-migration early next year. Once accomplished, you will have full access to the new "Jira" feature suite. The migration will not impact any existing projects and for the migrating users the new "Jira" pricing will come into effect only with the first subsequent renewal.
Pricing will align with the "Jira" pricing structure, which is consistent with the current Jira Software pricing. Customers will receive a 10% discount for 12 months following migration (see FAQ), applied to their next billing cycle. There will be no pricing changes until their first renewal after migration.
