Our story

"Building bridges" - that was the slogan under which catworkx GmbH was founded in 1999 as a service and system house. The underlying concept behind this slogan describes the technological bridging of various IT components and an exceptional service culture that ensures an open and transparent partnership with our clients.

In 2002, the business relationship with the still young Australian company Atlassian became a groundbreaking catalyst for catworkx's current business model and its diverse range of products and services. It's safe to say that catworkx has been "In Love" with Jira since Version 1.0.

Over time, catworkx has evolved into the perfect sales partner for Atlassian products in Europe. In 2007, catworkx officially became an Atlassian partner and began independently and successfully selling licenses.

In June of 2013, the catworkx Midsummer Day (CMSD) takes place in Hamburg for the first time. Over the years, the Midsummer Day has become a prominent event format and has been a part of the largest Atlassian events in the German-speaking region.

catworkx has now risen to Platinum Partner status due to its high revenue. 2014 marks the year where catworkx fully dedicates itself to the role of an Atlassian Partner, committing 100%.

As one of the leading Atlassian Platinum Solution Partners in the German-speaking region, catworkx is expanding its operations by opening its first branch in Winterthur, Switzerland. This move marks a significant step towards our goal of becoming the largest Atlassian service provider in the DACH region, while also strengthening our international network of companies.

catworkx unveils "Teamworkx - Enterprise Products" at the Atlassian Summit in Las Vegas, marking a significant milestone in the separation and expansion of their service offerings.

The TIMETOACT GROUP, a leading provider of IT services for small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, and public institutions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, acquires catworkx with its headquarters in Hamburg, Vienna, and Winterthur. The three founders of catworkx will be leaving the company.

The TIMETOACT GROUP acquires brainbits, a renowned specialist in web applications based in Cologne, and a month later, STAGIL, one of the largest Atlassian Platinum and Enterprise Solution Partners in Germany. These acquisitions elevate TIMETOACT GROUP's Atlassian consulting portfolio, led by the catworkx brand, to the top league in the German-speaking region.
