Select Single or Multiple Issues Based on JQL

Select issues from an auto-complete drop-down menu with items representing issues based on a JQL query. Displayed can be any issue field. Previous creation of selected issue in context of selection dialog possible.

The Teamworkx Issue Picker Custom Field can be displayed on any transition dialog or on a customer portal page of the Jira Service Desk. These are single or multi-select menus that offer previously defined processes for selection via a JQL query.

Linking issues smarter

Based on JQL selected issues can be linked by a predefined link type. Providing guidance and structure for users when linking issues.

JQL query, custom field mode, link type, displayed fields in a table and much more can be conveniently entered on the configuration page of the Teamworkx Issue Picker Custom Fields.

Available for Jira Service Desk (Customer Portal)

The Teamworkx Issue Picker custom field is ready to be displayed on the customer portal of a Jira Service Desk. So new service requests can be linked to already existing issues, e.g. assets, automatically.

In addition to the standard Jira display for links, the Teamworkx Issue Picker Custom Field allows the link to be displayed as a link in the detailed view of the active issue. The display of several selected issues is clearly arranged in table form.

Diebold Nixdorf – Portfolio management and regular project budget planning/control with Jira

Excel was the project controlling tool used by Diebold Nixdorf until recently, but it was showing increasing weaknesses: “With seven locations, the processes in monthly budget forecasting became less accurate and the quality of the content fluctuated. Both the project managers and the PMOs that evaluate the projects all had to access it at the same time. Excel was not suitable for this,” explains Steffen Lechte, describing the initial situation. They wanted more transparency and control during the forecasting phases so that any potential correction effort could be kept within limits. Based on these points, Lechte specified the requirements for better collaboration across different time zones: mappable real-time status of forecasts, integration of standardized workflows, display of change history, transfer of structures to the following year, and support for multi-user access. Since there was already successful collaboration with catworkx regarding Jira in other areas of the company, it was clear to the IT colleagues that this would now be expanded. After a test implementation with Jira, it quickly became clear how many possibilities this tool offered for mapping both portfolio planning and forecasting.

After eight years: update and expansion of the Jira reporting system in the Nuremberg parking garage

PS Parkhaus Service Nürnberg GmbH manages eight parking garages in the city center and five parking garages in the Nuremberg metropolitan area. In 2011, Atlassian partner catworkx was hired to implement a system for message tracking that would provide the greatest possible transparency in automated message volume, classification of message processes, their internal management and traceability. Jira was used as the basic solution at the time. An interface developed by catworkx (Transfer Agent) has since been ensuring communication between Jira and the parking garage intercom system. After eight years of stable operation without updating the system, new requirements (time tracking, long-term parkers, master data maintenance) made it necessary to update and expand the previous reporting system in 2019.

catworkx solution for GDPR: Data protection management system with Jira and Confluence

Since the introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018, there is still uncertainty in many companies.
