      Training description

      In contrast to traditional Scrum Master training, this training focuses on the role of the Scrum Master within the entire organization. Teams will learn how to successfully execute Program Increment Planning (PI Planning). This includes teaching the key components of Agile when scaling to an entire organization.

      The training is held in German, the training materials are written in English. After completing the training, participants can take an exam for certification as a SAFe® Scrum Master and also receive 1-year access to the SAFe® Community Platform.

      2 days/total 14 hours

      Prerequisites

      No prerequisites are necessary to participate in the training. Experience in the following areas is recommended:

      • Knowledge of agile concepts and principles
      • Basic understanding of Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming (XP)
      • Practical experience in software and hardware development processes

      • Scrum Masters who want to understand their role in a SAFe® context
      • Team leaders who want to understand the Scrum Master role
      • SAFe® Release Train Engineers (RTE) who want to coach Scrum Masters in their role

      • Introduction to Scrum within the Scaled Agile Framework
      • Understanding the role of the Scrum Master
      • Performing Program Increment Planning (PI Planning)
      • Performing iterations within SAFe® 5.0
      • Successful completion of PI Planning
      • Coaching agile teams
