Training description

This training advances your team’s administration skills in Jira and Jira Service Management through a practical, case–study–based approach. Participants will learn how to configure issue types, custom fields, screens, workflows, boards, sprints, and schemes to align Jira with complex business requirements.

In this hands-on course, your team will develop real-world skills they can apply immediately, including gathering and refining requirements, mapping them to effective Jira configurations, and implementing administrator best practices for scalable, maintainable setups.

This training is designed for experienced Jira administrators managing Jira or Jira Service Management. Prior completion of Jira Administration Part 1 (Cloud or Data Center) or equivalent hands-on experience is recommended.

Mapping business requirements in a Jira configuration
Creating suitable schemes
Specify different behavior of fields for different task types in different projects
Specify different screen masks for certain operations for different task types in different projects
Creating conditions, validators and follow-up functions in workflows
Configuring authorizations for sprints and boards
Applying standard schemas and configurations to new and existing projects
Implementing best practices for Jira administration
