Cancellation & Refund Policy

Overview

This policy applies to all training sessions and courses purchased through the catworkx Academy website (catworkx.one/training-calendar). Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

We understand that plans change. Our goal is to be fair to both our customers and our trainers, who prepare materials and block time well in advance.

1. Cancellations by the Customer

1.1 Cancellation More Than 10 Days Before the Training Date

If you cancel your registration 10 or more days before the scheduled training date, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.

Refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe) within 5–10 business days.

1.2 Cancellation Between 5 and 10 Days Before the Training Date

If you cancel your registration 5 to 9 days before the scheduled training date, no monetary refund will be issued.

Instead, you will receive a training voucher equal to 100% of the amount paid. The voucher:

• Is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance
• Can be applied to any catworkx Academy training session or course
• Is non-transferable and has no cash value
• Will be delivered to your registered email address within 2 business days

1.3 Cancellation Less Than 5 Days Before the Training Date

If you cancel your registration fewer than 5 days before the scheduled training date, you will receive a training voucher equal to 50% of the amount paid. The remaining 50% is non-refundable to cover trainer preparation and fixed costs. The voucher:

• Is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance
• Can be applied to any catworkx Academy training session or course
• Is non-transferable and has no cash value
• Will be delivered to your registered email address within 2 business days

1.4 No-Shows

If you do not attend the training without prior cancellation, no refund or voucher will be issued.

2. Participant Substitution

You may transfer your registration to a colleague or another participant at any time before the training begins, free of charge. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance by emailing academy@catworkx.com with the name and contact details of the replacement participant.

3. Cancellations by catworkx

In rare cases, catworkx may need to cancel or reschedule a training session due to insufficient enrollment, trainer illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible and offered:

• A full refund of the amount paid, or

• A free transfer to the next available session of the same training

If a rescheduled session is not suitable for you, a full refund will be issued automatically.

4. How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your registration, please contact us via:

• Subject line: Cancellation – [Training Name] – [Your Name] – [Training Date]

 Your cancellation request will be confirmed via email within 1 business day. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email.

5. Payment & Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Refunds are initiated by catworkx and returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times depend on your card issuer or bank (typically 5–10 business days after initiation).

Stripe's payment processing is governed by the Stripe Services Agreement.

6. EU Consumer Rights

If you are located in the European Union and purchase a training session that has not yet started, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of the date of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

However, please note: by completing your registration and accepting these terms at checkout, you expressly request that the training service begin within the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will be forfeited once the training has commenced.

This waiver is standard practice for scheduled live training events and is compliant with Article 16(a) and 16(l) of the Directive.

7. Changes to This Policy

catworkx reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your registration. The current policy is always available at catworkx.one/training-calendar.
