Atlassian Team ’25 Europe set the stage for the next phase of Atlassian’s evolution — where AI, strategy, and service management come together under one connected system of work. This year’s Founder Keynote introduced a sweeping vision that expands beyond tools and features, focusing instead on how organizations can integrate people, work, and strategy through Atlassian’s cloud platform.

1. Platform and Cloud Announcements

Atlassian Cloud is now the backbone of AI-driven work across organizations. With 98% of European customers already on or moving to Cloud—and even highly regulated enterprises following—Atlassian has rapidly scaled its infrastructure to support up to 250,000 users per site in both Confluence Cloud and Jira Cloud, ensuring seamless enterprise collaboration.

To address diverse regulatory and operational needs, Atlassian now offers three hosting options: Commercial Cloud, Government Cloud (FedRAMP Moderate, with higher levels coming), and a new Isolated Cloud launching globally in 2026, featuring dedicated compute, storage, and networking for maximum data isolation.

Another innovation, the new “Units” model (coming early 2026), will let organizations create segmented environments with their own user directories, data boundaries, and AI contexts — ideal for managing collaboration and compliance at scale. Alongside these updates, a modernized admin experience brings clearer navigation, unified search, and a more consistent feel across all Atlassian products.

2. The Teamwork Graph – The Core of the System of Work

At the heart of Atlassian’s AI advancement is the Teamwork Graph — a unified data layer connecting people, work, and knowledge across Atlassian and integrated tools. Now comprising over 100 billion objects and expanding via connectors like Databricks, HubSpot, GitBook, and Basecamp, the Teamwork Graph enables developers to use new Graph APIs for Forge to build custom logic and automations around shared context.

Assets has also evolved from a Jira Service Management feature to a platform-wide app, integrating both physical and digital objects with the Teamwork Graph. Teams can now create and manage custom business objects in Confluence, fueling unified search, AI reasoning, and workflow automation. These innovations position the Teamwork Graph as a central organizational memory—empowering smarter collaboration and faster, data-driven decisions.

3. Meet Rovo Everywhere

Rovo has evolved into a truly universal teammate across the Atlassian platform. It’s now integrated into nearly every Atlassian product and is included in Standard plans, no longer limited to Premium tiers. A standalone Rovo app is also on the way, making the AI experience accessible beyond individual tools.

Rovo integrates seamlessly with Canvas for visual collaboration and gains personal memory to provide more relevant responses over time. On desktop and mobile, Rovo can now read local files and create Jira items directly from spreadsheets.

4. Teamwork Collection: Smarter, Faster, and More Connected

Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection enhances collaboration across Confluence, Jira, Loom, and more.

  • Confluence now performs twice as fast and introduces Create with Rovo, embedding AI assistance directly into content creation.
  • New audio briefings deliver personalized summaries of team updates, while Loom adds a desktop experience for quick, async video sharing.
  • Teams can now assign Rovo agents in Jira to automate repetitive tasks — already in use by companies like Canva.

5. Atlassian Software Collection

The Atlassian Software Collection integrates Rovo Dev, Bitbucket, Pipelines, Compass, and DX, offering a unified, AI-powered solution for software development and analytics. With Rovo Dev now generally available — embedding AI in pull requests and CI/CD — teams gain measurable productivity and faster incident response, helping organizations deliver software with greater speed and confidence.

6. Atlassian Service Collection: Going Beyond Jira Service Management

The new Service Collection unites Jira Service Management (JSM), the Customer Service Management (CSM) app, Assets app, and Rovo AI agents into one end-to-end suite. This brings full visibility from customer support through IT operations to development.

Key capabilities include:

  • Rovo Ops for instant, AI-driven root cause analysis, integrating with Dynatrace, New Relic, and BigPanda.
  • Rovo Service, which automates employee onboarding and access setup across HR, IT, and facilities.
  • A CSM agent that acts across systems, manages prefilled handoffs, and continuously improves through coaching and evaluation datasets.
  • A new Atlassian Beacon (alpha) for extended detection & response for cloud products.

7. Strategy Collection

The Strategy Collection links strategy, people, and investment in one system — helping leaders turn vision into action. It includes:

Focus turns static strategies into real-time, trackable plans with OKR and hierarchy support, plus Funds for budget oversight.

Talent offers instant visibility into filled and open positions, workforce distribution, and actual work mapping for smarter resource allocation.

Align unites strategy, people, and execution for enterprise-wide planning.

New features such as Funds (spend vs. budget tracking) and Strategic Events (faster planning cycles) bring clarity and adaptability to strategic decision-making. With Rovo built in, leaders gain predictive insights, automated summaries, and risk detection.

Focus and Talent are available free to Align customers, and catworkx supports organizations in assessing and improving their strategy-to-execution alignment.

8. The Browser Company Acquisition

Atlassian has confirmed the acquisition of The Browser Company of New York, introducing Dia—a groundbreaking, AI-native browser designed for modern work. Dia sets itself apart by enabling users to chat directly with their tabs, generate instant summaries and comparisons, and conduct in-depth research without leaving the browser. Advanced features include summarizing YouTube videos and extracting actionable, time-coded insights, as well as comparing content across multiple open tabs for rapid decision-making.

A deep Atlassian integration is planned, pending regulatory approval, which promises an even more connected experience across platforms. Dia is now generally available for Mac OS, signaling a new era of productivity for teams seeking an intelligent, work-optimized browsing solution.

Looking Ahead: Expanding the System of Work

Beyond AI and collections, Atlassian’s broader message was about connectivity. Every announcement — from Rovo to Focus — reinforces the idea of a single, intelligent Atlassian platform where every team and tool contributes to shared context.

Together, these updates reflect Atlassian’s vision of a connected, AI-powered platform — one that ties together strategy, teamwork, and service.

For enterprises, this means faster workflows, fewer silos, and smarter use of context across every product.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll take a closer look at each collection — from Rovo’s rollout to the Strategy Collection’s new approach to OKRs and workforce planning.
